sad fairy by ragen
I'm off for three whole days!!! I've been terribly excited about this all week, but when it came to leaving last night I wasn't so sure..do you remember when you were at school and its the run up to, say, the easter break and you can't wait. And then on the last day of school it occurs to you that your not going to see any of these people for ages and you have no plan for entertainment and suddenly the whole thing doesn't look like so much fun. Bit like that. But I'm sure I'll cope :0)

We've had managers in all week at work, which as you imagine has been great :s but I did manage to find out that the shortlisting for the job I've gone for was on thursday and interviews will be in a fortnight *rolls another fag* so I'm just waiting to hear really. I'm pretty sure I've got an interview, Thursday eve the scarier manager was in (he's scarier cos you never really know if he's being serious or winding you up) took me into the library and started pulling books off the shelves at random to show how rarely they get taken out. Like we didn't know that, still. Then he says"If I was going to interview I would be looking to say things like...." and then listed off changes he would make to the space like getting rid of most of library and bringing in a seating area with a big tv and games consoles and having specific activites for age groups and stuff. but each time with the prefix of "If I was going to interview" Cool but wierd, I mean its not exactly cryptic, but I'm sure there was a specific reply I was meant to give, like if I said "the ducks fly south in winter" I'd be given an interview date... Anyway I get a message through another member of staff that I am to take on board what he was saying, which is sweet of him. But, seeing as he is on the interview panel for the job, I'm assuming I'm being prepped....:s For fucks sake I've worked the job for 2 and half months, what more do I need to do??
